It was a bbc/itv/channel 4 mini series. Horror/suspense. Maybe 10 years ago or earlier.
Dark haired actress takes her son to the park. She falls asleep on a bench, when she wakes up her son has disappeared.
A while later her and her husband move to an old orphanage/boarding school. The main actress starts seeing things? In the past the headmaster throws a teacher down a well in the cellar? Because the teacher discovers the headmaster is abusing the kids and tries to save them but it’s the 40s and she’s not believed and is sent back.
Think there was a dog shut in a shed because it senses the spirits.
I’m sure I watched it with DH but he can’t remember it at all and he has a great memory for tv so now I’m not sure.
