I have £125 to spend in John Lewis.
I don't really need anything, and there is so much to choose from!

What would you buy?

Ooh, I would buy a really nice version of something I use every day - a carafe for drinking water with dinner? A beautiful fruit bowl? Some luxurious bath stuff? A soft throw? Some lovely cushions?

Is it JL vouchers? If so and there's nothing you want or need, spend it in Waitrose on your weekly/monthly food shopping. Stash the cash you would have spent on groceries into your rainy day or holiday fund.

It is vouchers, but made up of some from DH and mother. So they will both expect me to buy something. Otherwise Waitrose would have been a good idea.

How about a breadmaker (assuming you don't already have one)? Makes for delicious pizza dough or, y'know, bread!

Really must get round to making bread again... Makes the house smell amazing for one thing 😆

I’d get myself some Sweaty Betty leggings and a silk pillowcase.

New bedding.
