Vinted help please!

I bought a pair of doc marten shoes from Vinted, advertised as size 5.5 before Christmas. Thought they'd fit me nicely since I have a different coloured pair of the same style docs that are a 6 and slightly too loose.

Anyway, they were too tight so I've this week sold them on. The buyer has collected them today and states that they're a 5 and too small for her.

She's thanked me for packaging them so well etc but has asked me how to proceed. I'm happy to take them back but should I be paying postage?!

No. If she wants a refund then it's up to her to post back

I think given you advertised them as the wrong size (albeit accidentally) you should cover the return postage.

If they have turns out to be size 5, and therefore misdescribed, then the right thing is for you to cover postage (Vinted can provide a label)

Ensure it is dealt with using the returns process and you will have the option of how a return is handled

If it's your mistake you should offer to pay the return postage.

Why didn't you check the size on the shoe when you received them and especially before you listed them? There's a label inside with the size on it...

Then how does she know they are a size 5? How does anyone know what size they are

For the sake of £2.99 just send her a returns label from Evri.
