Victoria London - child-friendly restaurant

Any recommendations for a child-friendly restaurant within a 5-ish minute radius to the Apollo Victoria theatre? I have an 8 year-old coming with me, and she doesn't have the appetite for an adult portion, so would need somewhere with a kids' menu. Happy to default to Pizza Express/ Giraffe if we must but would like to try somewhere else if anyone has any good recommendations?

Depends on how adventurous an eater she is, really, but your best bets would either be Cardinal Place (which has a Bills, Wagamamas and possibly a Zizzi or Brown’s, can’t remember which) or Wilton Road, which has more non-chain options. If she’d eat something like meze or tapas, there is Kazan and About Thyme - both used to be good but I haven’t been to either recently.

Depends on what you like. I’d probably go to one of the chain restaurants in Cardinal Place, as they tend to be fairly consistent. Market Halls are good but I’m not sure they’d work with an 8 year old!

There is an Ivy nearby if you like that?

Thank you - she's not super adventurous unfortunately (I hope she'll grow into it.). Chicken nuggets or battered fish are her restaurant staples. 🙄

I didn't realise there was a Bill's nearby; that might be a good shout.

I have one of those! Bills is a great option for us.

There is (or was) a Zixxi in Cardinal Place. There's also a very nice Italian place called I think Il Posto where she can get kid-friendly pizza or pasta and you can have something nice too.

Zizzi! I can't type!

I can see a place called Stone & Grill (general bistro) south of the theatre and a place called Sicily (Italian) west of the theatre- both with kids menus and good reviews
