Hi all. Sorry for boring thread.
For the last couple of days I've been getting quite a few texts claiming to be from the post office or evri saying my order is delayed. Only I haven't placed any orders so I know they are spam.
I've blocked the numbers each time and deleted the text, but has anyone got any idea what else I can do? They are very irritating and I must admit I'm slightly concerned about frequency in the last few days,
Thanks

Your number has appeared on a list used by scammers somewhere. There's nothing you can do really other than what you are doing. They are very annoying.

Thanks @HappiestSleeping

I get them too. And the scam calls. I have registered with the TPS, and am very careful about where my number goes, but it only takes one of your friends to get their equipment compromised, or a company who has your number to get hacked and that's it. Also, they use number generators that just send to a whole sequence of numbers in a scatter gun.

They come in waves, nothing for a while, and then a whole bunch.

Thanks again. I got one in the middle of the night - nearly clicked on the link because I was so tired. It's so hard these days to trust anything!

Some people do get a lot, DH does, they come in spates. I get very few but that could change anytime.

You can forward them to 7726. If enough of them get reported they’ll be investigated by the Information Commissioners Office

Thank you, I'll do that next time I get one
