30th Wedding Anniversary Holiday Dilemma

Not really a dilemma more of a where can we go at the very end August - beginning September which will have lovely warm/hot weather.
We love beach holidays & want to go somewhere really special but it seems that wanting to go when our anniversary actually falls is causing an issue.
Beginning of September seems to be an inclement month weather wise for a lot of the more idyllic beach locations including the Caribbean.

Any suggestions very welcome.

We have been to Rhodes & South of France at that time and had gorgeous weather.

A small beautiful boutique hotel on of the Greek Islands would be my choice.

We are lucky enough to go to the Greek Islands or Cyprus for our Summer holiday - we were hoping to go somewhere a little further afield for our anniversary.

Guadaloupe or Cuba would be my choice. Both fab, also enjoyed Seychelles and Sri Lanka

OP I live in the Caribbean. Do not touch the Caribbean in September! It may be tempting as it's cheap but, even if there is no hurricane, it can really RAIN. And the mosquitoes are horrendous. You could have an absolutely magical time, perfect warm water, perfect sunshine, when it's nice it's honestly amazing. But you could also have a week of rain, the kind you cannot leave the house in. Lots of sargassum so you can't go in the water. And when you do go out, the mosquitoes will eat you alive.

The weather changes in a matter of hours, a friend tried to visit me 2 years ago (against my advice!), she got on the plane in London and while they were in the air, we got told there will be a hurricane, plane stopped in the Bahamas and then went back.

Stick to Europe. Everyone here flies to Europe for August/September!

Fabulous time to visit the beaches of California. Head south for lovely La Jolla or San Diego - the beach hotels area is a few miles from the city centre and has pristine white sand.

Hawaii, weather is perfect in September
