Having read the posts about the disgusting 35 year old porn shagger, other posts about useless husbands who dont know how to clean up after themselves & having been ill & then come downstairs to a shit hole of a house, I have decided that most (all) men are unwiped arseholes.

I want to go and live in a lovely community of women. Do you want to come along with me? We can all have our own home but lovely shared spaces where we come to help & support each other and make each other laugh. We can have a screening room where we watch reruns of pride and prejudice. Also a weights/gym/yoga centre whereby we invite specially selected instructors. We could start with that skipping guy from instagram? (see note below).

If men must visit, sigh, they must pass the round table of the wisest amongst us. Anyfucker can lead. Fail this test & they exit through a trapdoor. Or a catapult.

Strange to read all the negative points about all female company.

My female friends are one of the great joys of my life. I would be much worse off without their support, humour, wisdom and kindness. Never any competing to be top dog.

I'll cut the lawn and look after the garden, without being told I'm doing it wrong. Happy with P&P and wine too. 🙂

Living with a large group of men, maybe?

So, it seems that so far we would need
(most importantly)
-individual quarters to include our own
bedrooms/kitchen/bathroom/living room

Then communal areas, to include
-a library
-a bar/wine room
-yoga/exercise studio
-cafe/restaurant with its own kitchens

-gardens
-small cinema
-communal lounge(s)
-craft studio for painters, potters etc.
-guest rooms or suites

I think it would be hormonal hell. Girls at school were constantly bitching and back stabbing. I'd rather live alone or with my beloved DH and kids.

Sad to read all the hate for other women on this thread. I’ve already agreed with some female friends that if we end up widowed or divorced, we will live close by if not together, to support each other in our old age.

My DM and my dear aunts, had very close female friends who were there in sickness and in health, to the very end. I hope my friends and I are blessed to live long lives and to support each other when the DC are grown and moved away.

And from an evolutionary and psychosocial viewpoint, it is much healthier for older women to live in groups together, (like apartment complexes), with social and emotional support, than to live in a nuclear couple setting.

I’m planning this with a group of female friends for when we’ve outlived our male partners and husbands. We’re pooling our money to buy somewhere gorgeous and lots of help.
