Roast or dauphinois? There are yorkshires. Can’t do both.

Roast. Obviously.

RoseDog · 18/02/2024 13:01

Depends if there is gravy, gravy and dauphinois mixing gives me the fear!

jusdepamplemousse · 18/02/2024 13:06

Roast.

RoseDog · 18/02/2024 13:09

Definitely roast potatoes, if I cook roast gammon I'll have dauphinois so the creamy sauce from the potatoes works as the gravy.

PickAChew · 18/02/2024 13:10

Yes to cauliflower cheese!

Wilkolampshade · 18/02/2024 15:23

Some people seem to like cauli cheese with a roast but IMO this shows a lack of moral clarity on their part.

Hoglet70 · 18/02/2024 15:34

I like cauliflower cheese with a roast but I have to keep the gravy away from it or it ruins the sauce.
