Lost sentimental item! Anybody psychic or could otherwise offer insight?

I feel sick to my stomach. My mum lent me a small, sentimental item as my 'something borrowed' for my wedding and I've lost it. She gave it to me a month ago and I put it in my handbag, I remember seeing that it was still in my bag the next day at work, and then after that I completely forgot about it until last night. It's not in my bag. I have no memory of taking it out and putting it somewhere else. I'm petrified it's fallen out of my bag, or that I've put it somewhere for safekeeping and subsequently forgotten. I feel heartbroken and desperate, hence the post - anybody have a gift for finding lost items? I don't have form for losing things at all and feel helpless 😔

Light a candle and say a prayer to st Anthony. He’s the finder of lost things

Pray to St Anthony.

On a practical note, take everything out of your handbag, one thing at a time. Search every cranny of the things in your bag. Then turn the bag inside out, and all the pockets inside out.

I’ve ’lost’ millions of things that turned out to be wedged in a fold of a bag/ tucked into glove/ inside a book/ similar.

Light a candle 🕯 and do mediation to Archangel Chamuel,

I think 🤔 you might have inspiration where to find your sentimental item either in your dreams or doing some mediation ....

Any holes in the lining of the bag it could have slipped into?

Otherwise, envelope or small jewellery container in underwear drawer (my attempt at amateur psychic-ness)

I'm sorry, it's an awful, awful feeling.

clear a table, totally, empty your bag out, item by item, when it's totally empty feel the bag all over, it could easily be between the liner & outer of your bag.

what is the item?

I know how you feel. I've lost some sentimental jewellery my gran gave me. I can't stop chewing over where it might be. I think I'm just not going to find it and I'll have to just let it go. But I can't let it go. I feel awful.

So no help, I'm sorry. Just solidarity.

Check the lining, good luck

Where are you not looking because "it couldn't possibly be there"?

That's where it is.

Thank you so much for all the suggestions and for being kind x

Definitely do the St Anthony prayer, I have also been known to ask the good people (aka the Fae in this household, at least officially if they're listening...) to give back whatever they've "borrowed".

Also sounds completely batty but I have also stood in the middle of the room where I last saw the item, closed my eyes and stretched out my arm, pointing with my right index finger and spun a couple of times, often where I've stopped has been the direction I need to look in. I suppose on a subconscious level this works like a type of dowsing as that's the level at which I remember what I did with it, and helps me retrieve what I'm looking for.

On a prosaic level, check pockets, lining, etc of bag, under your desk or where you were sitting, and also in your desk just in case you put it there for safekeeping and it slipped your mind with all the prep you're involved with. Also check coat or cardigan or dressing gown pockets.

Good luck, hope it turns up.
