Anyone bored and want to help me find some curtains? I'm losing the will to live.

Have painted my room this colour so was looking for some natural coloured curtains. Blackout. Ideally under £10 as I need 2 sets.

Nothing shiny or crushed velvet or sequined.

90 inch by 90 inch curtains for under £10?
I think you are looking for the impossible. ebay is unlikely to have pairs.

Can you make do with the old curtains until you have saved a bit more, and a sale is on?

ChanginRooms · 18/02/2024 09:48

I meant £100, oops.

Might be worth editing the OP to say £100 or you will just get loads of comments telling you you are dreaming with £10. Have you tried ikea?

InsidiousRasperry · 18/02/2024 09:52

Dunelm have the best selection. I’ve had good black outs from Amazon too but the sizing was def off 🤣

Pigeonqueen · 18/02/2024 09:52

George at Asda?

ODFOx · 18/02/2024 09:52

Header tape or eyelet top?

MadeOfAllWork · 18/02/2024 09:53

Dunelm or John Lewis are a good bet.

Under £10? Where would you buy anything for that price point?

ChanginRooms · 18/02/2024 10:18

Dunelm- I've had some good bargains from there.
If you have a sewing machine- could you make your own? Aberkan has a huge selection of fabric- if you can get a roll end there are some great bargains!

Try this - £75 a pair for 90x90

If the shade isn't quite right there are similar ones in lighter / darker natural shades

I make my own so only ever used Terrys for fabric rather than readymade but it's always been good quality.

I think charity shops have a wide selection of curtains plus a tailor can alter them if they are too large.

Summerhillsquare · 18/02/2024 11:18

I like next blackout curtains, they stay new looking for years.

Livedandlearned · 18/02/2024 11:20

Dunelm have lovely curtains

Augustus40 · 18/02/2024 11:51

Next are very dear. We paid over £700 for the ones in our lounge!
