How many dates do you wait till sex?

personally I would never have sex on a first date. But I’m curious, if it happened on a third or fourth date would you think less of them? Or just treat it like a hookup or does it just depend on the persons mindset

I haven’t dated much but in my first relationship after an almost 20 year relationship I did have sex on the first date.
We had known each other for around 7 years, there had been a bit of attraction between us for the 6 months.
it really depends on the situation, I don’t think I would do it if it was a first date with someone I had met online.

Divorced 10 years later

Dated a guy from school 3 dates not even a kiss, I wasn't into him

Slept with a tinder date, first date after no sex for 2 years, we had talked for a month
Relationship lasted 3 years

POF relationship 3 dates lasted 10 months

Hinge date after 2/3 lasted 2 years

Another hinge date after 2 dates lasted 6 months

Husband cheated and I ended all the other relationships except the hinge 2 year one

So do whatever you want just look out for yourself, be sensible and make sure people know where you are.
I didn't feel like any of them were strangers. I chatted with all of them for at least a couple of weeks and always have a phone conversation before I meet them

I prefer a daytime coffee/ walk and chat for first dates.
I have never accepted a lift home on a first date

And I've had plenty of dates that didn't go anywhere too

Depends. I met a guy I'd been chatting to online for a few weeks and at the end of the date i asked him if he'd like to come back to my hotel and have sex.

Been together 10 years and married 3,5 years

It's entirely what you are both comfortable with. That's it.
