Holiday ideas.

Tell me where to go on holidays. For work reasons I’m going to take the kids out of school for a week and go in September/October.

• So I need somewhere warm in September/October.
• my 3 kids age 5 - 11 are super active and busy and would love to meet other kids.
• we all like cycling.
• I hate tacky resorts.
• I’d love somewhere with nice scenery.
• I love good food.

Anyone been anywhere that fits the bill?

Italian schools are off until mid September - perhaps one of the euro camps on Lake Garda? Good cycle networks, lots of activities and still warm.

Surely its going to be a tacky resort of some description because the native kids will be in school? Although Spanish kids go back a week later if I remember rightly
