Screen time confession.

I can’t believe I’m admitting this but here we are. In my mind I’m only on mumsnet to get useful information, quick friendly advice on specific topics like budgeting/parenting etc. Screen time report tells me that I’ve spent 12 hours on this site last week. That’s more than anyone “needs”. I’m so ashamed, I feel awful. I’ve also spent a total of 41hrs on my phone which is more than I’ve ever done before.

Seeing this is a real wake up call. Forums like Mumsnet and Reddit are the worst culprits for drawing you in and keeping you there for as long as possible (in my experience).

I might use this depressing momentum as a reason to quit for good 😫 (I know I know, starting a post that will keep me on the app isn’t the best way to go..)

I spend a lot of time on my phone. Mn, Google searching for things. Doesn't bother me.

Same! Everyone in our house has been ill this half term, today is the first day we've all been okayish and we are all exhausted. Been managing to keep washing and drying laundry but now it all needs putting away and I just can't bring myself to do it - so I'm in my dressing gown and DCs are still in their pjs!

Same. I feel so guilty about it. No idea how to stop.
