What do you do to lift your mood

I've got 2 toddlers and life is very stressful. I'm always yelling, or telling someone off and I listen to whinging and moaning all day. It's so rare at the moment that I'm in a good/happy mood. What do you do to lift/keep your good mood? I need to try and change my mindset I think. I don't mean things like have a bath etc. I mean throughout the day all day everyday I just need to be more positive and stoping being so grumpy.

This is not intended to sound patronizing but have you tried not shouting/raising your voice? Kids mirror how adults behave, can you try a different approach and not resorting to raised voices? It’ll work wonders for your stress levels. And the kids will be calmer as well.

Other than that I use exercise to de stress, and wine. Too much wine.

Time away from the toddlers helps 😂

So funfact if you head straight outside in the morning for 20 mins, doesn't matter if it's cloudy, you'll top up your dopamine levels for the day. But it only works if you avoid checking your phone first. Do not check your phone first thing. That will just drain your feel good hormones.

Get outside wherever possible. The fresh air and daylight really helps, particularly when you've got small children.
