Wooden floor or nice carpet in masterbedroom

I'm really torn as to what to do. On one hand I love the idea of nice thick fluffy carpet but then i remember my husband will be in the room too and I worry if it'll be harder to keep clean ( I don't allow
Shoes on upstairs but always catch my DH upstairs, with shoes on his bloody feet)

Wooden floor, practical and can chuck a nice rug that can be changed if it gets grubby/ bored of colour . Just not as cosy,

What do you have on your bedroom
Floor?

Carpet every time. I tolerate hard floors downstairs as is more practical with children spilling drink and paint and wotnot but I would prefer carpet. Always cosy carpet in a bedroom for me.

Wooden floor with cozy rug? I love having mostly wood floors. So easy to keep clean.

We now have wooden floor. It’s so much better. Our robot hoover can clean easily any dust under bed and it’s so much cleaner. Just have a soft rug at side of bed if you want to.

I have hardwood floors throughout my home because I hate carpet. I use rugs to add warmth.

Carpet for sure. You will see every bit of dust and dirt on the hard floor, it's noisy and cold. Get a nice thick carpet and vacuum regularly

I hate carpet, a wooden floor is lovely to keep clean. I wear thick socks and don't slip or make a noise at all.

If you want add a rug but I recently got rid of mine, love it now a lot more.

Hate all carpet anywhere. Wooden floorboards and a few lovely rugs - so much better.

Upstairs carpet much warmer/cozy.

Wooden flooring downstairs.

I vote lovely carpet for a bedroom. We've gone from somewhere with mostly carpet to somewhere with mostly wood floors and I find it much more arduous to keep on top of the dust and cat hair (and my hair!) flying around everywhere than I ever did just running the vac round every few days.

We rented a house that had hard flooring in the bedroom, and I hated it. I found that I picked up gritty bits from the floor on the bottom of my feet, and they ended up in the bed, making the sheets gritty and uncomfortable.

It didn’t matter how often I cleaned the floor, or how well I tried to de-grit my feet, it still ended up in bed with me.
