Be honest with me about my teeth…

Putting myself on the line here but 😬

I really hate my teeth. It’s affecting my self esteem but I don’t particularly have the funds for private dental work and getting an NHS appointment is very hard, so I get them seen infrequently. I know it’s not ideal.

I brush 2, sometimes 3 times a day and invest in the best toothpaste & mouthwash available. I floss too and try not to have too much sugar. Despite doing all this I feel like they are not very white, at all - especially the ones at the side.

I don’t know if it’s just a me problem and it’s all in my head that others can see it too. So… If you saw my teeth would you notice them as anything out the ordinary or would you not really think much at all?

They are quite straight and not yellow! Not much.more you can ask for

Fuck all wrong with them OP and teeth aren't supposed to be 'brilliant white' anyway.

They look nice, could do with a bit of whitening home remedies etc. If not happy op, you should just go to Istanbul. They're really good there and cheap.

Your teeth are perfect – I’ve had braces and they’re still not as straight and aligned as yours! Dazzling white teeth don’t look good or natural. You’d be best seeing a hygienist who can polish them for you and see from there whether you want to whiten them further. But honestly, they look perfect.

Your teeth are straight and white and even and healthy looking. I’d honestly look at your teeth and think, what a lovely smile. This is all in your mind!

Just make sure you keep up having nhs dentist appointments. I was removed from my practice (my fault) and now have to pay private.

Absolutely ridiculous comment. OP, you have perfectly nice teeth. If you want them whitened then do it properly at a dentist but really there is no need. And ignore any suggestions to go to Turkey to have all your attractive healthy natural normal teeth filed to points and fake-looking veneers stuck on, no doubt bringing you a lifetime of dental expense and problems.

I’d have to have years of braces, double jaw surgery, and then more years of braces however.

Try to put it into perspective and look at the good rather than obsess over little perceived faults. It’s hard to do but worth it. I should know

I would love your teeth, honestly they look fine. I'm 60 with dentures after a lifetime of weak crumbling teeth.

I've spent thousands on my teeth and they're not as nice as yours!
