My lovely, cripplingly shy BIL has worked so hard over the last 10 years to get a handle on his anxiety. When I met him, it took about a year for him to feel able to make eye contact with me. DH and I have been trying to support him and helped write his profile for OLD etc... well it's working! He's got a girlfriend and is going to introduce us to her soon!
From what he says, I like her already, but need to stay cool and not mention it aloud incase the children overhear as he hasn't yet told anyone except me and DH.
So I thought I'd share my excitement with anonymous strangers on the internet!
