I have just watched an interview with Esther Ghey, the Mother of Brianna. I have seen her several times over the last few months during the trial but this interview has really taken me aback. What an amazing human she is. I cannot begin to imagine the pain she has suffered and will continue to suffer at the loss of her child however she has such grit and determination to change things for children in the future. I just wanted to take a moment to show utter respect and admiration for this woman.

I couldn't agree more. She's amazing , the world would be a better place with more people like her in it.

MissHavershamReturns · 16/02/2024 07:37

Agree

I listened to her on a podcast being interviewed. I was blown away by her. What an incredible woman she is.

Agree

Such poise in such a difficult time.

MyCatsSlave · 16/02/2024 07:42

She is incredible, reminds me of Sophie Lancaster’s mum Sylvia. To want to make life better for others after what she is going through is just amazing.

ChaosAndCrumbs · 16/02/2024 07:43

Wholeheartedly agree. She’s been honest about the issues they had, empathetic to the teenagers who killed Brianna’s parents and is trying to find solutions to make the world that bit safer for children and teenagers. An amazing woman.

itsgettingweird · 16/02/2024 07:51

She is the epitome of empathy.

The empathy she's shown the other parents involved and the passion tos rip others going through the same is nothing short of phenomenal. Her world has been ripped apart and yet she can show compassion.

cerisepanther73 · 16/02/2024 07:55

@Tomorrowtomorrow77
I agree totally
I don't know where she gets the strength from after everything she has been through

It would be totally understandably 😩 for her to feel 💯 per cent bitterness at what's happened to her family..

but she is doing something totally different with hoffically shit card that life is dealt her in life...

SirWalterElliot · 16/02/2024 07:57

Totally agree

You cunt.

There's no way I'd have the strength and dignity of Brianna's Mum (as you can see).

All reported by me. I couldn't let that sit.

GinJeanie · 17/02/2024 06:03

Reported ESSEXKID too 😡

Reported ESSEXKID too 😡

Me too.

honeyandfizz · 17/02/2024 06:08

I agree OP she is amazing, dignified and composed. Only a handful of people could understand the horror of what she has been through and after such a short amount of time she is trying to turn it into something positive, something that could change the lives of children and families like her. Good for her.

Elderflower14 · 17/02/2024 06:18

I've reported it too 😡

Spencer0220 · 17/02/2024 06:29

I don't think I could be so calm. But I do have understanding about her compassion for the parents. This wasn't about them, I'm sure they had no idea what was happening. Their daughter was mentally disturbed and committed a heinous act.

Doing good in Brianna's name is probably what is keeping her going.

I am pleased to see she has joined forces with Ian Russell.

Yerroblemom1923 · 17/02/2024 06:33

I've also reported the gross anti trans comment.

BIossomtoes · 17/02/2024 06:38

MNHQ is going to be inundated with reports, I’ve reported too. It’s really concerning how much transphobia there is here.

cakeorwine · 17/02/2024 08:21

She does have so much strength.

Sadly she is getting a lot of horrible comments on social media which are aimed at Brianna.

Brianna Ghey's mother Esther hits out at trolls' 'hateful' abuse of her on social media | Daily Mail Online

I know it's the Mail but it's sad how the top rated comments prove the point she is making!

cerisepanther73 · 17/02/2024 08:52

Unfortunately there are some Arseholes out there 😕 saying nasty stuff

R.I.P Brianna
