2 years ago we moved to the South of England- to a village just outside of a smallish city on the south coast. To say settling has been a little hard going would be an understatement. We've tried our best to be sociable. Generally though we're finding the people luke warm, reserved, and insular especially even the school mums and to be honest its becoming pretty isolating. As a result I'm noticing a change in my usually happy and outgoing 5 year old son who started reception in September.
I'm therefore considering a move elsewhere preferably to somewhere with a friendlier community and a little more culture.
Would it be crazy to relocate again so soon? Can anyone advise where in the UK we might find the warmer and more welcoming people we're craving?
