...memory! (Especially for dates)

What about you? Fill in the sentence!

Breakfast waiting for me…(berries, Greek yogurt, honey, mixture of seeds and nuts).

Appetite for chocolate, it is never satisfied

…immune system, it's always practising on things other people's lazy immune systems just let pass on by.

Pollen. Nickel. Gluten.

It must be super-strong by now.

Son, who I am visiting and he's given me his room as it's the same floor as the toilet! He's sitting on the bed now getting dressed for work and we're having a lovely chat about our plans for the day.

mondaytosunday · 15/02/2024 08:17

Well actually he's just taken the dogs out for a wee otherwise I wouldn't be writing this!

Morning planned taking my 2 teens daughters out for coffee and then to an indie bookshop.

...nice new skirt from FatFace which I got in the sale and is hanging in front of my wardrobe telling me to find somewhere to wear it.

...bed - which I really do not want to get up from!

The bedroom window is ajar so the room is cool and bright, I can hear birdsong, MrCat is curled up next to me, and I am cosy and comfy.

And hungry. And, now that I think about it, nature calls. But I do not want to leave my bed 😁

… memory for faces. If I meet them once I can remember who they are years later and where I first saw them.

Sparklfairy · 15/02/2024 08:56

Also memory, but I trained it to be that way after a head injury. I now have impressive, but ultimately useless memory party tricks a la Rain Man...

Jumper de-bobbler.

Jumper de-bobbler.

Last actual night, DP and I had an entire conversation about debobblers and how they are somehow inherently, universally shit. This was after he'd watched me spend over ten minutes imperfectly debobbling one side of a pillow case before giving up and saying "Fuck it, I'll do the other side tomorrow night, just keep the smooth bit next to you". (I do actually enjoy debobbling, even with a shit debobbler, which was why I was doing it, not him. I'm not convinced he even notices the presence or absence of bobbles unless I point it out, and even then, I suspect he's humouring me, and doesn't actually give a shit that he's resting his face on cotton gravel.)

All of which is to say, please tell me the name of this non-shit debobbler! I need it 😣😭

ChocolateRat · 15/02/2024 11:24

(Yes, we have fascinating conversations, totally worthy of their very own place on this thread of really good things.)

trooc · 15/02/2024 11:25

...DH but it's not something talked about on MN
