Hat - Need Gone

Lighthearted

The attached post on Marketplace has really tickled me this evening for reasons I can't put my finger on. I've seen the 'need gone' description before but usually related to furniture or big items and always assume the seller is moving or having a replacement delivered. None of this sellers other various clothing and bric a brac items had this urgent caveat attached.

So dear hive mind, what could be the reason behind this particular innocuous looking beanie needing to leave the sellers ownership with such haste?

Is it evidence of a crime? Are they so hard up for storage that the arrival of a new hat has rendered this one a nuisance? (I feel their pain if that's the case). Have they suddenly become so hirsute that it no longer fits?

Oh my. I couldn’t even begin to speculate. Looks like it belongs in the bin

Op, the only way you (and us too now) can find out the answer to this, is if you take it off their hands, and report back (asap!). Careful though... It may be possessed. Then t'will be you putting an identical post on marketplace....

The poor hat - I feel sorry for it!

Perhaps it belonged to the seller's ex and brings back bad memories?

Perhaps it's infested with headlice 😨
