Mine was inspired by the poster who thought the ABBA song Fernando had the line "They were shining there for you and me
For liberty, Fernando" and though it was Lee Bertie who was someone special in their life 😄

Close second Jeff cos he's such a dick.

DisappointingAvocado · 14/02/2024 18:50

I just find sometimes you wait ages to cut into an avocado, letting it ripen to perfection, to find it's gone too far. It's such a disappointment.

LadyAsnowt · 14/02/2024 18:51

It's an expression of my Lancashire dad's: "swanning around like Lady (or Lord) 'Asnowt".

Glenn the manager in superstore.

Bargainoussushi · 14/02/2024 18:53

Sticks and Sushi are offering a £40 voucher if you pick it up today. It's a huge extravagance, but we're staying home for the holidays, and it's a treat for DD too. Hence, Bargainousushi! It isn't actually a bargain, just cheaper than normal. I'll probably change it back tomorrow, but it made me laugh today, when I was feeling a bit grim and dark.

LadyMacbethWasMisunderstood · 14/02/2024 17:10

I love Shakespeare. English literature was my passion at school and beyond and I adored Macbeth which was the first Shakespeare play I read. I always wanted to play Lady Macbeth on stage (never did and am too old now). I don’t actually think she misunderstood. But I do think she is an under rated character. Misunderstood sounds better!

Very interesting. I'm not by any means "undereducated", but Shakespeare - always made me drowsy! 😁

OhVienna24 · 14/02/2024 18:59

That means nothing to me !.

KitchenSinkLlama · 14/02/2024 19:02

I like llamas and a nod to kitchen sink dramas.

It made sense at the time. Tbh it isn't my best user name over the many years I've been here, but it'll do for now.

FannyFifer · 14/02/2024 19:03
