Just received our new fridge from Curry’s

1x KENWOOD - KTLD60X23

Paid extra for installation etc. Due to it being quite a small kitchen the delivery men were in and out and said that was it all ready to go but after they left realised it’s not on…

No running noise, no light, the power up button is lighting up briefly when you touch it and then nothing is happening.

I didn’t realise until today that Curry’s own Kenwood and neither give any technical help, just repair or send the installation team back out which they can’t do for 4 days!! 😭

Does anyone have this fridge, are we doing something wrong, I’d there a magic way to power it up…

Help!!

switching on your unit

  1. Connect the mains cable to the mains socket. The internal temperature of your unit is controlled by an electronic control panel on the door.
  1. Press power button for 3 seconds to switch on or off the unit. If temperature has been set previously, the previous setting will be displayed when switching on the unit again.
  1. Press Temp. repeatedly to set temperature for the freezer (-14 to -24°C). The recommended temperature is -18°C.
  1. The unit may not operate at the correct temperature if it is in a particularly hot or a particularly cold room, or if you open the door often.
  1. To ensure that the unit is cool enough to sufficiently chill your food, wait 24 hours before filling it with food.
  1. If you are concerned that your unit is not being kept cold enough and wish to check the temperature, you will need a special fridge/freezer thermometer. These are available from most supermarkets and hardware shops. Place the thermometer in the freezer and leave overnight. The correct temperature for the freezer compartment should be -18°C or lower.
