To block or not to block?

What is your take on blocking people?

I am personally in the opinion of I just won't do it, no matter how pissed off I am. I always feel that you need to keep that door open just in case. Doesn't mean I will go out of my way to chat, but I just can't sever all ties forever, I don't have it in me.

I have been hurt, cheated on, but to block and maybe one day that person who I once was close me to needed me and couldn't get hold of me, isn't something I want on my conscious.

I'm not a walkover but I am in the league of moving on but not shutting the door.

The only person I block periodically is my mum, lol!

If you knew her, you'd understand why.

I'm married, but id deffo block men if i was single and they'd given me the runaround

I block spam callers and messages but not people I know.

I have only ever blocked 2 people - ex-colleagues who made my life at work hell.
I have lost contact with others but haven’t felt the need to block.

Same here - it's the only solution sometimes.

Sorry, that part didn't make sense and I have no clue how to edit.
