Car purchase/MOT advice

Any advice welcome. Bought a 2020 Nissan Qashqai, due to collect tomorrow from quite a big car sales company. I've just checked MOT history and it failed in July 2023 due to Anti-lock braking system warning lamp indicating an ABS fault (1.6(b))

It then passed the day after so fault was obviously fixed. Excuse my ignorance, is this okay then? Is that not quite a serious fault for a car so new?

I'm feeling all paranoid and anxious about buying a newish car and spending a lot of money and being ripped off. Probably just fragile because my car was written off when someone drove into the side of me and it's been very stressful. Any reassurance or advice would be gratefully received! ☺️

It could have been anything
I work for a car dealership and spend all day booking in cars with amber warning lights that seem to come on for fun
It wouldn't bother me, we get cars that are a month old with engine management lights/abs/airbag ones

It was probably just a sensor. They are easy to replace so very feasible for it to be fixed and retested the following day.

Don’t worry, considering it was tested the next day, probably a minor item such as a sensor.

It was probably a sensor. It would be sensible to ask for all evidence of work and parts ect. Also question the dealship if your concerned. I would also make sure you know what type of guarantee you get with the car

Thank you everyone! Very reassuring. Only get a 3 month warranty as too expensive to extend!
