Sandwiches, quiche/tartlets/frittatas and at least something that's gluten free, can be crisps even.

Bowls of fruit including strawberries, raspberries and blueberries always go down well when I’ve put them out for parties

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 12/02/2024 17:17

Party rings

I wouldn't bother with the cruditees

What limitations do you have (ie are you limited to cold buffet or is there somewhere to cook food at the venue?)

I'd personally add in coleslaw, potato salad, pesto pasta salad, various dips (humus, salsa, tzatziki, guacamole) and bowls of nachos for dipping.

You need something substantial so either sandwiches or pizza.

I'd also do some chicken wings and some grilled halloumi slices.

Fruit platters (grapes, all the berries, kiwis etc) and salad platters (diced peppers, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, avocado, carrot batons - may not all get eaten but relatively inexpensive and are there for those who want them)

Bowls of sweet stuff (one bowl of marshmallows, one bowl of sweet and salted popcorn, one bowl M&M's, one bowl gummy bears - that kind of thing)

Obviously you need to cater for allergies and intolerances.

More info required! Can things be served hot? Can it be fork food or strictly fingers?

not hot as sausages rolls and spring rolls will be hot

finger foods as not enough forks

@MikeRafone whatever you can that will match what everyone else is having.

We don't want different we want the same but gluten free. So if you have sausage rolls, quiche etc nothing makes a gluten free person happier than having an option for them too.

Literally whatever you can do makes a difference but pls not just crisps. I've started declining invites where I know I won't be catered for.
