Anyone switching their doorbells after Rings price hike?

£3.49 a month just to see who was at the door was bad enough but a fiver?! Everything is going up except the income 🙄

So I'm looking for a new video doorbell to save up for. Anyone have a Eufy or a Blink doorbell? Are they any good? Any others you might recommend?

Ahhh yes of course; I’m really feeling the pinch due to the £3 a month fees I’m paying for the doorbell footage storage - nothing at all to do with the £1000 a month nursery fees or the £350 a month hike in mortgage interest, it’s that damned security camera subscription

What an odd response, literally it all adds up. Heard of maths?

@slowdaysloegin blink has the option to use local storage with a sync module, or have a subscription to store video in the cloud.

H and I have decided to bin Amazon altogether. It’s not just the subscriptions and pricing, but having prime we have stopped engaging brain when buying stuff! It’s a very bad habit.

So, ring have stopped the 24hr free footage? That's a pain. I'll have to keep paying for the storage.
