Hi my child has tested positive on a test I got online from a legitimate company
shows 2 lines
red spots on back roof of mouth
no white patches
sneezing /runny noise unable to blow nose properly
temp 39.4

calpol brings it down to 37.8

in past Gp told me it’s just a virus but I ended up taking him to A&E who gave antibiotics and he improved after 1-2 days

I think step a should be treated with a 10 day course of antibiotics due to the potential complications

Yeah I needed antibiotics when I had Strep A. I'd left it for a week (not knowing what it was) and I was just getting sicker and sicker.

Did your Gp test you ? Too many dismiss it as a virus

@Zok No I went to the walk in centre in the end as we can't get GP appointments here. The doctor diagnosed me just by looking at my throat. His actual words were 'Oh, that's quite bad isn't it?'. 😂
