Can anyone tell me if this what slapped cheek looks like?

My boys was far redder than that. And had a very defined edge.

No, it looks more like a reaction to something

It looked far more pronounced when our daughter had it. Literally looked like someone had slapped her really hard, hence the name I imagine.

Slapped cheek is normally much redder.
Is it perhaps a rash from teething? That can cause red cheeks.
