Six nations tickets week 5 Lyon - how to get there etc!

As above. It's my DPs 40th birthday and I've seen there are still tickets for the England match in Lyon. I've never booked flights anywhere etc - do we fly to Lyon?! Or train!?! What do I need to think about if we go?

You could drive, fly or go by train (or coach). Personally I think I'd drive.

You'll need to book a hotel and if you want to fly, to find out what airlines go to Lyon from the airport(s) you want to fly from and then book on their web page.
I assume you have passports.

You need to think about how depressed your husband is going to be when he sees his team getting pummelled. Other than that, it sounds like a great trip!

Thanks everyone, I think we'd enjoy it anyway! We never really go anywhere and he works such long hours and honestly is the best man out there. He deserves it.

Does depend on which part of the UK you are in, but v easy drive from Calais

Depending on where you're starting from train is fab... Could possibly change at lille... Or fly .. there are direct flights to lyon but maybe really busy already so could fly to paris and train to lyon from there . French train system excellent between cities so easy man in seat61 website has all the info
I wouldn't drive personally..
