Ex watching my social media ,does he still care?

I'm aware this might sound pathetic to some and that's fine but after 2 years I'm still not over him.
After 2 years I started my Instagram account up again and my ex has been viewing all of my stories.
Surely if he wasn't interested In what I was up too or bothered he would just delete me?

Anyone with any thoughts.?

I just flick through all the stories at the top of my screen one by one and click on to the next if not something I want to watch.
I wouldn't say it means anything.

I’m no expert on Instagram but if I go on the first story that pops up and then keep swiping, I must view loads of stories of people that I follow but have no more than a passing interest in.

A lot of my exes watch mine. I ask them straight.

one offers to meet up with me for lunch every now and again - I suspect he wants to be around should I become single
one just likes to see my face and remember the good times

i agree that they wouldn’t watch if not for something, even if it’s not a romantic reason, even just to validate themselves - as I have exes who don’t watch at all
