Are you a woman who has found a use for shaving balm?

I got a lovely big 'refreshing wash kit' for my birthday. It's got smellies in it that I like, such as sandalwood shower gel and soap. I've gone to open it and have realised it's actually for men. I'm a woman in her 60s.....I'm going to use it anyway, but one of the things in it is shaving balm. Is this a good swap for skin toner? Could I use it to massage my feet? What even is shaving balm supposed to do? The only man in my life is my grown up son who wouldn't touch this with a barge pole!

I fully recognise this question is really weird. I'm a very pragmatic, low maintenance type who hates waste.

Would it work on your legs after shaving?

Apparently it’s good as a primer. I vaguely remember trying DH’s before he had a beard, but I don’t wear much make up so didn’t bother again as it was just an extra thing I was slathering on my face.

And it turns out, its effectiveness is not just a gimmick, with several Beauty Crew members raving about the success of the Post Shave Balm as a primer. Check out what a few of them had to say: “My makeup lasts all day, and sits well on my combination skin. It's so affordable compared to high end primers out there.”

I find it works quite well to combat strawberry legs in summer and is nice for getting winter feet ready for summer

Never tried it as a primer!

The shaving balm doesn't know if you are a man or a woman.

What a bizarre answer to the OPs query? Shes just asking for alternative uses for it.

@TheDandyLion I'm a woman and was born a woman. I wouldn't be using it after shaving my face🙄

I'd look at the ingredients, it can generally tell you alot.

Some people will find that essential oils are too strong for their face.

I'm a woman and was born female, too.

I would.

Got to love PCOS sometimes.

@NeverDropYourMooncup apologies. It appears I'm also a woman who was born an idiot.

Don't worry about it. I couldn't get the laughing emoji to work. on my phone - I love that it didn't occur to you!
