Baby 4 moths

My 4 moths baby sleep first part of the night in his coat then from 3 am he only want to sleep on my chest
I try pick up pick down he will settle for a bit then he wakes up
not sure what to do
any advice please !!

Try the shush/pat technique with him still in his cot rather than pick up put down. He’ll learn he needs to stay in his cot but you’re still offering comfort with shushing. Baby sleep is lighter after midnight so may explain more wakings. Also. Research the 4mo sleep regression if you haven’t already.

My baby 4 moths is fighting some naps every day since 2 weeks
i do keep him within the right wake window for his age 1.5 or max 2 hrs
i folow his cues too so he shows he is tired and then as soon as he is in crib he start to play and fight nap
I do cry when I see him so tired and I know sleep is so important for them
wondering if I’m doing something wrong
if anyone had similar experience please Andy advice 🙁
