Anyone have any idea where I might get a print of a poem to frame and put on wall?

I’ve searched on Etsy, poster sites, googled etc and can find books with the poem in but I’d like a print of it to frame. If I just print it off on printer paper ans frame it I think it’ll look a bit crap. Any ideas?

Advertise locally for someone who can do calligraphy. Buy some posh paper and ask them to write it out.

I’ve used large photo prints for similar things before . I just designed the poster I wanted and added it to a photo print order .

But that’s exactly what anyone else would do? Only you pay a mark up for them to do it.
You can jazz it up using different fonts/layout, printing on to coloured paper or adding borders or a watermarked picture behind the lettering etc etc. Have a play about on you computer/laptop as it’s so much easier than trying to do it on a phone ime.

Thank you for the ideas. I have an iPad and will have a go at getting it to look nice enough to print.

Canva is a website (offers both paid and free versions) that’s super easy to use and good for designing stuff. I’ve never used it for print but I have used it for images to use online.

Do a design on Canva

What poem is it

FluffyFanny · 09/02/2024 21:43

Just go to a print shop- most towns will have one.

Get a graphics company to do it

Download a nice text and print it on high quality paper, it will look gorgeous.

Etsy?

I’ve looked on Etsy. Ive changed the font of it from a version I found on Google and will take it to a print shop and get it enlarged and printed on photo paper and see how it looks. It’s The Waking by Theodore Roethke. I love it so much
