Celebrities you don’t like but don’t really know why.

I don’t like David Tennant, can’t put my finger on why he just seems a bit creepy. I’m sure he’s not I just don’t like him.

If you and all the other people whinging and moaning about how this thread is mean, horrible, nasty etc then don't read it. People are entitled are to their opinion and are entitled to voice it in any way they see fit. Do you not dislike anyone just because? Do you like everyone you see or meet?

I’m so shocked at all of you who get the ick from the lovely DT, he seems like the cutest guy ever. Big fan girl of his wife too.

Andi Oliver (so called chef) just didn’t like her, this dislike felt quite irrational, then I discovered she went bankrupt owing HMRC a ton of money.

And then someone told me the other day that she withheld tips during Covid to the value of circa £9,000 said they were holding on to it, until the Covid payments landed, not your staffs problem, they still have bills to pay.

Whenever she appears on screen DH has to remind me that we don’t need a new TV and to remain calm. 😂

I don't get the animus against David Tennant either. He's a fine actor and a very nice man.

Catherine Zeta-Jones...again no reason why. Just can't watch a film she's in!!!

Plenty of people named on this thread are justifiably unlikeable due on their personal behaviour. I know why I don't like Mark Wahlberg and Russell Brand!

Absolutely - can not listen to him - soooo boring - I have to switch off.
Plus s newsreader on R2 whose voice goes up and down so much I can’t hear half of what he says -winds me up so much I have to turn radio off.

I understand the tips thing but do you really dislike people because they've gone bankrupt? I don't think people do it for the fun of it. I know someone who went bankrupt and it was horrific, the damage to their children losing their home, moving schools and ultimately seeing their parents marriage breaking up under the pressure was not something I'd want. I honestly sympathise with people this happens to.

Sarah Paulson gives me the creeps. No idea why.

Claudia Winkleman, just one look at her gives me unjustifiable rage. Rick Stein irritates the hell out of me, no idea why.

Jim Carrey, all of those weird facial expressions. He’s really the only celebrity I actively make a point of not watching.

I just googled Andi Oliver (because I didn't know who she was) and all the articles that came up said it was her daughter who went bankrupt owing over £174,000 to HMRC not Andi Oliver. Don't know if that is true. The story about the tips came up.

I mean, really, if you are any of these celebs, you have had a lifetime of being in the public eye. If you click on a thread 'celebrities I don't like but don't know why' (or google yourself and it comes up) thinking 'This isnt going to be about me because Im so amazing, well really you need to start looking after your own mental health by staying off the internet or at the very least not reading threads about people giving their opinion on celebrities!

Not bankrupt per se, but it was tax due, therefore in my opinion there should have been provision made for it, totally different again in my opinion to someone having debt that spirals out of control. Probably should have worded that better.

It used to be Nicole Kidman for me for ages then I warmed to her and look for things to watch her in.

I didn't really think anything of Dominic West until he was caught canoodling Lily James. The canoodling a much younger co-star I would have thought is par for the course, but it was the 1980's politician 'My marriage is rock solid' statement afterwards. Does he really think so much of himself that he thinks people care about his marriage? Poor Lily James must have cringed herself inside out that she left the lovely Matt Smith for some silly old married guy!

I don't mind Lorraine Kelly but my Dad really dislikes her.

I think the issue is the way tax is collected if you aren't on PAYE, It can be nearly two years before you pay tax on income and things can change so much, I bet lots of businesses got caught out in the pandemic as they tried to carry on dipping into money that had been put aside.

Apart from that did she go bankrupt or was it her daughter?

Michael McIntyre is a strange one, I like his brand of humour, but there is just something about him that grates on me.
