We have the class Bear, anyone have good ideas for a simple photo opportunity to stick in the teddy dairy?
It's going to have a trip in the washing machine for sure.

Making pizzas?
Craft session at the local library
Stick up a tent and call it camping in the garden

The washing machine is a Spa Trip, wrap up.in towel, photos and weekend sorted.

We once hid the class bear in huge.plats at the garden centre and pretended they'd been to a rainforest for the weekend.

We took it to the pub and gave it a pint, those pics are just on my phone though didn’t quite dare put them in book

Something simple like eating breakfast or playing with other bears at home

I did a sanitised version for the diary and adults version for staff..😂

We sat it in the trolley to do the shopping then went for a picnic

I reckon I won the Class Bear diary entry. The week we got him, DH was interviewed on the news (talking head academic type thing), so we photographed the bear watching mini-Matilda’s dad on TV. Yep, it was a truly smug diary entry.

Assuming this isn’t an option for you, I’d shove him in the cupboard under the stairs, and claim he’s Harry Potter.

Sellotape a fortune cookie to it's paw and show it celebrating Chinese New year?

This is exactly what I did!

We took ours to Scotland, he had a great holiday 😂

Reminds me of having the bear for half term.. lost him in xxxxing Sainsbury's. Had to buy a new one! Dear god the trauma. Then years later had one.. left him in front of a fountain in the centre of a town, 2.5 hours away. Called the businesses around the town centre and someone found him...5 hour round trip to collect him. And then there was the xxxxing rabbit someone lent my son, this was a rabbit she had owned since she was an infant.. left that in a tourist office.. had to beg them not to shut as I rushed back.

I can keep my kids alive but should never be responsible for soft toys.

Its Lunar new year this weekend so I'd use that as a teaching opportunity for the bear and order a Chinese for tea tonight. 😅😅

frenchnoodle · 09/02/2024 18:04

It's such a chore, even worse when the child gets attached and doesn't want to give it back.

Looks like celebrating Chinese new year will be the easiest.
