I have started a thread in the Aus/NZ group but unfortunately I don't think there is going to be a good outcome. Very similar to Nicola Bulley but there is no river.
Same as in went for a run and never seen again , a loving mum . It's been 5 days now. I'm not sure why I'm posting this except that I want her name known.

Also the poor daughter. She is totally devestated.

I’m not sure it’s similar. Authorities from the start didn’t treat Nicola Bulley as a likely homicide if I recall, due to the circumstances. Despite the public clamouring for this and that, and certain people to be looked into, stalkers etc, they knew all along she was in the river.

Police usually know a lot more about what likely happened than they let on initially.

I really don't know. It could be that she fell down a mineshaft (unlikely) or was hurt either by an attacker or some other means & is lying under the thick ferns somewhere. I don't think it looks good for her survival, though.

What scared me was the other female runner who came forward about being assaulted in a nearby reserve last year. The interview I saw, she said the police told her that unless he attacks someone else & gets caught they can't do anything - shrug - and she should just not run alone. When will women's safety be taken seriously??

It’s so sad. Expecting the worst, but hoping for a miracle.

The police new Nicola had gone in the river pretty much from the start. Samantha however is abit different, there is nowhere immediately obvious she could be. Not sure how she could've had an accident and hurt herself and not be found by now.

Sadly the outcome is not looking good. Hoping for the best though.
