Seem to be having small allergic reactions, worth bothering the doctor?

I've had terrible skin recently- one episode of hives and constant dermatitis on my hands and arms, although that isn't unusual for me in winter. Yesterday I put a plaster on and my finger actually looks burned and swollen.

GP is usually rammed and I assume any tests won't actually be done for years, would you be worried?

If the allergies are increasing, then yes, I’d see them.

before you see the doctor, can you try to identify what might be causing the allergies?

could it be something in your clothes or washing powder? Iatex (in plasters) is also called elastane when used in clothes and can develop an allergy over time which looks like hives. try wearing only cotton clothes for a week if you can.
