Do you ever feel used?

I’m sorry if this sounds silly but I wonder if anyone else feels sad and “used” after sex. I don’t know if this is just me but it’s been getting worse. We have been having some issues with mismatched drives and it does make me feel bad at times but not always. I think it’s the feeling of emptiness or loneliness afterwards that makes me feel so sad. Is this just me or is this more common maybe?

Are you married or in a long term relationship? What happens after sex? Do you cuddle?

Yes op, I feel this. It really gets me down and I don’t know how to get past it. I wish I had some good advice for you but I’ve had this for a long time and never seem to be able to move on. If anything it’s got worse the longer we’ve been together.

How is he during and after? My DH is always (ahem) there for me during and then afterwards we tend to kiss and cuddle for a bit and then I do a wee and put my pyjamas back on (for if a child comes in later) and he always always says goodbye to my boobs and we generally laugh a bit about that.
But he’s a kind and lovely man all the time anyway.
So I don’t think it’s right that you should feel used or sad afterwards.
