Draughts.

But my husband and I are really competitive and both good at draughts so it gets quite tense and fraught and he kind of bites his bottom lip in a very sexy way when he’s concentrating.

Dh and I love Speed (the card game!). So fast paced, exciting and often ends in laughter!

Sometimes when away from the dc we'll have loser of each round has a shot 😁

@RootVegAndMash what is the objective of the game? Is it a specific game to buy?

we do already play poker .. he is very competitive.. not sure on strip poker. I was thinking some of these games you can buy specifically for couples, wasn’t sure what ones were good

Spite and malice is a good card game. Needs two packs of cards.

Qwirkle or Dobble can be played with just two.

Shot in the Dark is great. It gets you talking and laughing about all sorts.

Other are other versions as well, Volume 2 etc.

I’ve seen what you are after on Amazon like cards with questions ect that encourage emotional intimacy … they look like a good idea!

The escape room games you can get, e.g. Unlocked. Other brands are available.

They get you working together so you fail or succeed as a team.

They are a lot of fun (although you can only play each scenario once, so you pay for a specific amount of entertainment rather than unlimited).

Cribbage is a great game, but not sure if it’s got the intimacy thing going on 😳
