Teams updated now won't stay green/available

This might work.
In teams 2 - go to settings and tick the box marked Register the new Teams as the chat app for Microsoft 365.
You'll need to restart outlook.

Buy a mouse jiggler. Tiny USB plug in that I click when I make a cup of tea. A few £ on Amazon

I've haven't got that setting, in proper teams or teams desktop app.

Do u mean it never shows green OR that it just goes to 'inactive/away' and while you are working on the device?

It's May be settings for this are centrally managed by IT admin as I think they are with mine. As someone said u can get a mouse mover app

I've found that if I open teams on my phone, I stay green online 👏

When mine did this it was because when it updated it changed my location to the default which is somewhere in the USA. So when it was reading my calendar for availability it was applying a different timezone to it.

So you could try checking your location and changing it if necessary.
