The dressing gown of doom....

...is in full force in my house.

DH (normally very good, equal partner in household chores and mental load) is poorly. He has a dodgy tummy and took to his (well, our) bed all flipping day yesterday. He hasn't been sick, neither does he appear to have an upset stomach, but he keeps telling me his stomach is not happy and he's only having toast and water.

He's very woe is me, and I'm running low on sympathy. I cannot imagine taking to my bed in these circumstances! He's just eaten a bowl of cereal, and says he might be able to get dressed today...

Give me strength!

Light hearted mostly

I would just be glad that he was in bed and out of the way as my DH lies on the sofa all day long when he’s ill, snoring with loud podcasts playing, taking up the whole sofa 🙈He refuses to go to bed 🙄

Convoluted nonsense, @Mrsjayy. OP shouldn't post a "lighthearted" thread about her DH being a bit of a drama llama, in case it makes women look bad? Bollocks.

Sorry you've encountered such a glut of earnest thread police, OP.

I consider myself well and truly told 😃
