We have had a disaster with my gp reference my daughters b12 deficiency that I won’t bore you with, but today the nurse told me her level is 24 and I have no idea what this means! Google isn’t getting me very far but she is 14 and currently having six injections in two weeks. Can anyone tell me what 24 means? Is this extremely low? What should it be?

You may need to google for children but for adults the range is 191-663 according to my blood tests. 18 this ago mine was well below the reference and I had to have the jabs, after that I am ok

be warned, you don’t need to tell her but sorry the jabs hurt as the stuff goes in, it’s soon over but it’s not like a flu jab where you feel nothing
