Pot Noodle Advert

All the slurping just confirms pot noodles are not for me. I cannot stand slurping or other eating noises, so if that's meant to sell pot noodles to me, they can keep them.

I do like Pot Noodles but the advert makes me feel murderous 🤣🤣

Annoying clever of them though.

I was brought up to not slurp, keep my mouth closed when chewing etc. and it gets to me when others make these noises 🙉

OMG this advert makes me sick. I have to pause the TV and give it a minute until safely over. The slurping and sounds are horrendous 😬I can't stand to hear slurps, crunches, open mouthed eating.

As my old gran used to say 'who the hell brung you up then, you common as muck'

And I thought the Super Noodles ad with the donkey was bad enough!

My dp and I both said last night we would actively not buy a pot noodle because of that advert.

Pot Noodles turn my stomach just thinking about them. I hated them even as a teenager. So notwithstanding the slurping the advert annoys me anyway, because I think they're foul!

Saw it for the first time last night. It's vile. It's up there with the Robinson squash gargling advert from a while back.

The Who gives a crap advert also makes me cringe.

Oh gosh, yes I have seen the advert twice now. Its truly disgusting and turns my stomach. All it has done is convince me that I will never ever want to try a pot noodle.

This ad is reviling. It makes me want to throw up it is so vile and beyond belief rude and disgusting. I used to eat the occasional pot noodle but cant even contemplate one now I switch the channels over when the revolting ad pops up. Cant see it can be a success but it is definitely an affront to people who have manners.

Just 50 years ago, the idea of a woman having an OnlyFans account would have been shocking, now it seems like every other mum at the school has one. Pot Noodle know their target audience well and are tailoring their advertising perfectly for their slurptastic customers!

I turn over or mute the Tv or leave the room as well, it has really put me off pot noodles. Up until that advert I generally had a few in my desk drawer for days when lunch plans had failed - I used to stock up when they were on special offer. Never doing that again now though

I think the advert is well targeted.
I can’t stand Pot Noodles, there again I cannot understand people who follow others on social media just to watch them eat. It’s vile. I’m looking at you dh.
I do not want to see or hear anyone eating.
I cannot abide all this gluttony with man v food and the like.
However lots of people do and this advert is perfect for them. It zooms right in to the idea that Pot Noodles are somehow naughty and forbidden.

I hate this advert more than "Daisy Daisy Daisy" and that's really saying something.

DH likes a pot noodle and I can't sit near him when he eats one. It's about the only thing I would consider divorcing him over with the noise he makes eating one. It's not just the slurping but he insists on eating it when it's boiling hot still so he blows and blows on it and THEN slurps. I'm shuddering even thinking about it. Blush
