For the Mumsnet playlist
Cats in the Cradle - Ugly Kid Joe

The story of the relationship between a father and son, where the father is always too busy (or out doing his time consuming hobby, most likely cycling 😉) to spend time with his son who’s growing up. It’s a cover so other versions will be available on Spotify depending on your preferred musical style.

This thread prevented me doing the batch cooking I planned to last night because I was too inspired to embark on a journey of musical discovery. Some of these gems are absolute stonkers. Thanks Mumsnet!

Don't let me do that again tonight though or my minced beef will get past it 😉

IJemimaDigging · 08/02/2024 14:06

Eminem didn't steal Labi Siffre's song. He sampled it, and credited him for it.

IJemimaDigging · 08/02/2024 14:15

Sugar Mouse - Oh, atoms
