We are experiencing extreme drought here in the algarve. If anyone is planning a trip this summer please be aware that there could be a reduction in water pressure, or water could be cut off for short periods.
Hotels have been instructed to reduce their water consumption by 15% so that could affect the topping up of swimming pools etc
If you do come, please be mindful of excess water use - we collect shower water while waiting for it to heat up and use it on the garden or to flush the loo, turn the tap off while tooth brushing, shampooing hair etc
