.... what single thing would you have? For me it's be a wok burner. I want to be able to do the sort of stir frying where the air above the wok catches fire momentarily.

Massive table and loads of chairs for the 2 or 3 times a year we have a houseful

Loads of free counter space for prep.

I do have a massive kitchen and table that seats 16 - the kitchen of my dreams. The one thing I didn't think about was a Quooker Tap. Wish id had one put in but my quartz worktops are done now and it would mess everything up having one installed.

A chef...

yy loads of free worktop for prep. We live in a little old cottage and I would love an extension for a decent size kitchen.

On my wishlist could I also please have a utility and some super quiet machines. That would be marv, ta.

A freezer that can take a normal size pizza. I didn't realise this was something that needed to be a special request until we had our latest fridge freezer and it's not possible!

A great big table, and an aga.

ShirleyPhallus · 06/02/2024 12:24

Some of those clever cupboards which open up to more counter space so you can keep all your stuff like kettle and toaster hidden until you use it

A massive yet cosy 'modern farmhouse' style kitchen, from deVol.

With an inglenook fireplace and a couple of Labradors dozing on a knackered yet beautiful sofa in front of it.

Doors out to the garden.

We replaced a tiny window with a really big one, but actually in retrospect should have switched the kitchen and dining space over and had two sets of French doors into the garden installed. The majority of big windows in our house are front facing and it would be lovely to have that view rather than just one window over the sink looking out. We also use the patio space a lot so it would be more open to that.
