What colour to paint walls

New kitchen - light grey, light marble grey tone work top with a light grey tile floor. I love the idea of sage green as my colour to warm it up but I have a question

Do I paint the walls all light grey and have sage green pictures etc

Or

Paint the wall sage green because grey will be too much and look cold?

Green walls, definitely. Otherwise it will look like the inside of a submarine.

Oh I love decorating posts so thanks for putting yours up! Please go for the sage green, it'll look beautiful in your kitchen. We've recently painted our living room sage green with grey furnishings etc & I love it as we'd the grey & mustard theme going on & I was bored looking at it so green we went & it's just so homely. I'm in the notion now to do our kitchen green as we've grey cupboards & flooring. Good luck with your kitchen & I'm sure it'll look beautiful when you've it all decorated!

Grey is very cold and dull imo. Sage green is warm and welcoming. Definitely go with this.

@MYSTERIOUSGIRL2024 I'm also thinking of painting my kitchen sage green. It's currently grey as well and I want to warm it up a bit.

Any colour aside from grey. Blue tones work well with the grey tiles.

@Outofideas79 Ooh the green will look beautiful in your home esp the kitchen where it'll feel warmly too. Grey is nice but I found so many grey paints we bought had a blue tinge which made me wrinkle my nose in disgust at lol. Green is definitely the way to go. Good luck with your kitchen & I hope you'll love it!
