Quick question - Royal mail

Hi all,

I need quick help.

I ordered something and seller is saying there is no tracking number. She said she sent it First Class Signed For.

Is what she is saying true?

Yeah, if she didn’t pay for tracked / signed for then no tracking number is given so cannot be tracked through the Royal Mail system.
if it goes missing it is on the seller to make a claim with the Royal Mail and they are liable if you have not received it.

Oh sorry, just saw she said she sent it signed for - there will be a tracking number on her receipt if so.

There is no tracking g for first class signed for.
There is a basic tracking number, but it will only update when the item has been delivered/attempted delivery,and not show journey tracking points.

Correct that it won’t show scan points but there is still a tracking number which will update when delivered & show the signature that signed for it.

Maybe ask her to send you a picture of the receipt, it may just be that she is unsure what the tracking number looks like?
