Hello, my lovely friend has broken her femur- I want to send some treats- any ideas? Not sure how much she can sit. Any ideas of lovely wet wipes/ gift ideas to distract her?

That’s a shame. U seem a nice friend.
what about getting her something to pass time if she’s stuck in ? Or even offer to help her around the house or fetch stuff from shops for her ? That might be the best thing. X

I don't know how excited she'd be by wet wipes 😂

How about books/magazines, nice snacks/treats, wine? Or something that helps her out such as food deliveries, taking her out for tea/dinner, or popping over to keep her company and help her out around the house?

Books/magazines/chocolates/nail varnish/hand cream/puzzle books.

You sound like a lovely friend.

A grabber thing so she can lift things off the floor she has dropped or are just out of reach. I was immobile once- only for a week- and I would've given my eye teeth for one of those.

Wine
Chocolates
Definitely a 'helping hand' (that's the name of them)
Books
Hand cream
Sensitive baby wipes
Face pack (etc)
Puzzle books
Magazines
Origami paper (lucky star strips?)
Recommendations for apps
Earphones

A grabber thing is a must, totally go for it, OP, it would be a truly life saving item! Gift-wise, can you get her favorite snacks or a takeout from her favorite place maybe? Also depending on her hobbies could be something she'd fine useful and entertaining, ie if she takes lots of pictures, you can suggest getting her a photo editing program, if she is into drawing, then maybe online classes, etc. Just make sure to ask her first to get her something she would find a use of!

Try to find things they can't be done on a phone.

I got a friend who was stuck in hospital a facemask, snacks, a rubrik cube and an adult colouring book.
